She had not realised what was happening until Sarah came after her. She had watched Sarah ducked as best as she could but the pommel of the sword still hit her cleanly on the head. Blood spurted everywhere, in the way in which only head injuries do and Sarah fell to the ground pressing her hand upon her head, feeling the blood for the first time. Sarah looking at her blood soaked hand did not help either; in fact it seemed to make her head spin even more than it was already doing.
"Damn." She cried. "Damn them what on earth do they think they are doing to us?"
She turned suddenly


One FriendThe second strike also found its target. As David put his hand to his cheek he could feel the wetness of fresh blood upon his face. He spat tooth and blood on to the floor and rubbed his face. When he looked up he could see his captor before him, was rubbing his knuckles. As he opened his hand the metal knucks fell to the floor. He glared at David, with a wild look on his face, as if he had won some great prize. David wondered what had he done to deserve this.One Friend
